Belfast Fleadh 2026 A Roaring Success

Belfast Streets Are Alive With The Sound Of Music!

Thousands of revellers packed the City Hall grounds to see the main acts playing the Gig Rig on the opening day of Fleadh. After rousing sets from Blackwater Ceili Band, beautiful ballads from Shaer, Moss, Warnock trio, and a set full of connection to Belfast from Goitse, the headliner Sharon Shannon & her Big Band brought things to a joyful close. Joined by special guests Frances Black and her daughter Aoife Scott, the set was full of well-know classics, with the crowd singing along and dancing throughout.
