What Does The Metropolitan Tabernacle Believe

The Holy Bible to be ‘the Scriptures of Truth.’ Divinely inspired and infallible. It is the supreme and final court of appeal in all issues of faith and conduct.

The Unity and Trinity of the Godhead. Almighty God exists in three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

In the full orbed Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the pre-existence of Jesus as the ‘Son of God’ who became the ‘Son of Man.’ The Godman - fully God and yet fully Man.

In the miracle ‘Virgin birth’ of Jesus, through the Holy Spirit. In the impeccable sinless life of Jesus and His astonishing miraculous ministry.

In the substitutional and atoning sacrifice at Calvary, Jesus paying in full by His Blood and death the price God demanded for sin.

They believe in the efficacy and the power of the shed Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ to redeem and cleanse a person from their sin. That Christ alone is the ‘Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.’

In bodily resurrection of Jesus, rising from the grave on the third day according to the scriptures and that He stands ‘Bodily’ in the presence of God making intercession for us as our Mediator with God.

"We believe in His ‘personal’ Second Coming - Bodily, Literally and Physically, to resurrect the righteous dead, to translate the living church and to set up His glorious and everlasting Kingdom."

In the sovereignty and works of God the Holy Spirit and that the New Testament experience of the baptism with the Holy Spirit and His miraculous gifts, including divine healing, are still available today having never been taken out of the church.

Whitewell believe in a regular observance and use of the ordinances of the church such as the Lord’s Supper, Believers’ Baptism and anointing the sick with oil.

In a judgement and punishment to come, which is why, whilse there is still time the Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle preach the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Whitewell preach the need for repentance and salvation and in following Jesus through the waters of Baptism. That each Born Again believer should obey the scriptures and seek the annointing of the Holy Spirit through Baptism. The Tabernacle preach that Christ's second coming is soon and that in wisdom you should look at the signs of the times, many of which are on TV right now.
