News: Tragedy Ends Belfast
Flights To Cork
Airline Manx2 has announced that it is to end flights from Belfast City Airport to Cork.
The announcement comes just over two weeks after
tragedy struck a Manx2 Flight attempting to land in Cork in dense fog, a
tragedy which claimed the lives of six people, including the lives of the two crew members
The airline announced their decision to cancel the route following a review,
necessitated by the 10th February crash.
Passengers of the service will be
accommodated for a further two weeks before the route comes to an end. Those who were to travel with Manx2 on this route, after this date will be able to obtain a full refund from the airline
The airlines other operations and flights, including the Belfast to Blackpool, Isle of Man and Anglesey routes are unaffected by this news
