MFI Computer Password Access
Most of our users will join us here at ballyhack.co.uk in
wishing the staff of MFI well for the future and in their search
for new jobs. Many staff face an uncertain Christmas with only a
handful having found new jobs, so far. All this comes as the
Northern Ireland MFI stores closed their doors for the last time
this week.
In the last days of the store 'clear out' many customers
purchased the stores computer equipment and pc's and probably
haven't even switched the equipment on yet. So you might be
unaware that you will require two sets of passwords in order to
make use of your equipment. You require the MFI Username and MFI
Password for the 'Windows log-on' and the MFI Password for the
computer BIOS (bootstrap). You will also probably have found that
the CD ROM drive of the pc is disabled. ballyhack.co.uk has been
provided with these user names and passwords but has taken the
decision not to publish these details online, despite having
evaluated the security implications to the store as being NIL.
Should users require these details there are two means: 1.
Contact the Administrators via email at: mfi@mcr.uk.com 2.
Contact ballyhack.co.uk from your personal email account, provide
a Northern Ireland landline number and the site will contact you
in due course.
