It is true that some nations have an ID card in play but it would appear that certain nations seem to be playing off one another in order to persuade their own citizens that the proposed system is safe. For example, Britain is being told that France has such a system, but upon inspection the French system is nothing like the British proposal. The French card holds various information, name, date of birth etc, all details which if someone stole your identity you could rectify. The British proposal is to introduce a card through slight or hand, using salami tactics (slice by slice), which will eventually hold your name, date of birth, retina scan, face mapping, voice map, blood group, DNA, finger printing etc. All these characteristics about you never change, they can never be changed, not by you and not by the most clever of scientists, and they offer this and future governments absolute control. If Hitler had, had control of such a system, this Nation would not exist and those of us who survived would now be speaking German. If the British manage to introduce such a system, then several years down the line the French will be telling their Nationals, look the British have it and they have nothing to fear from it, why should you? These sorts of strategies are used by governments all around the world. 3. It will prevent Fraud There is no evidence to back this claim up, even in countries that operate an ID Card, there is no such evidence. If they were claiming that the card gave them absolute control because behind it lay a huge database which should be feared more than the card itself, then this argument might win the day, but it would also be the nail in the coffin of this policy for the public would be alerted to its danger and might even go after those who attempted to enslave them. Where these arguments fail they resort to Sir Humphrey style tactics and attempt to win concession on the backs of our elderly or by claiming it will prevent child abuse. What utter nonsense! The real danger as this government know, is not a piece of plastic known as an ID Card, which other nations do have, but a massive database of every non-changeable characteristic about you, leaving you no avenue of escape from criminals or from rouge governments. We all watch the TV and wonder why certain countries just don't overthrow their leaders and the answer is because it is not that easy to do in practice. In a world going towards a one world order, we would indeed be foolish to allow ourselves to be watched, monitored, traced and tagged by this ID Card and its associated technologies.
