National Identity Register Will Be 'Physically Destroyed'
Its good news all round with the new coalition government's announcement to abolish the ID Card scheme and their promise to physically destroy the national identity register, designed to hold
up to 50 pieces of information including biometric data, name, photograph and fingerprints.
The Promise - that the ID card scheme will be 'axed in 100 days'. All cards will become invalid by approximately the 3rd
September and the Register destroyed.
With all governments vigilance is required to ensure they honour their promise and to ensure that their promise is not all smoke and mirrors, a deflective
tactic affording them the opportunity to introduce
similar measures through the back doors of other bills.
Perhaps, for all the hardship of the recent recession, this is one true blessing, for if it had not been for a lack of money its possible this government would have retained this scheme.
With hundreds of millions of pounds wasted on this scheme by the
Labour party regime, will Britain ever forgive this party,
for the years they spent attempting to restrict and remove
