Belfast Estate Agent Philip Johnston is Back In Business!!

Local Business man Philip Johnston is back and business and going by his recent comments it Business as usual. Philip surrendered his businesses to a management buy out in the face of criminal charges. Mr. Johnston had previously owned shops: on the Ormeau Road, Beersbridge Road, Belmont Road, two on the Upper Newtownards Road, which were sold to the owners of MCW and one in Holywood which is now John Minnis.

After the death of Jim Gray who was murdered at his father's home in Clarewood Estate, the Prosecution dropped charges against Philip Johnston and he was cleared of money laundering charges.

Mr. Johnston has now taken back three of his former businesses although it is uncertain as to whether he will re-brand them.

Editorial

It is always assumed by the public that where the police charge someone with an offence that they can prove that charge. In this case it was the prosecution who dropped the charges and questions need to be asked as to WHY? Why were charges brought if they could not be proved? Why was an innocent man's life turned up side down and why the waste of public money?

A big welcome back to Philip. An expert in his field, it will not be long before he flying high again, setting the standards for other agents to follow and all with that unique Philip Johnston personal touch.
