NI Water staff attend Royal Garden Party

Three NI Water staff were guests at the annual Hillsborough Garden Party held on Monday 14th September. The company’s representatives were invited to mark the role the organisation plays in providing safe clean drinking water and wastewater services to the people of Northern Ireland.

Representing the company were Jane Jackson, Christine McIlhatton and Anna Marshall. Individually they have been involved in providing education services, corporate social responsibility activities and support for the international charity WaterAid.

Jane Jackson, spokesperson for the group, commented:

“We were delighted to attend the garden party hosted by The Earl and Countess of Wessex. We were honoured to represent Northern Ireland Water at this event, attending on behalf of the hundreds of men and women who work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week providing high quality drinking water and wastewater services.

“While the weather was challenging, it’s all in a day’s work for our staff who serve the community in all weather conditions! It was a wonderful day and one that we all thoroughly enjoyed.”
